Financial Controller

Australian financial services arm of the global Virgin group, Sydney.

Established the Virgin Money Australia Finance function including the migration to a new ERP/GL (Netsuite).

Managed a major restructuring project to insource the finance function.

Selection of cloud ERP to suit current and future business needs and negotiated contracts. Management of parallel phased implementation, process mapping/building, data migration, UAT, documentation and training.

Managed financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting processes. Short and long term sensitivity analysis on pricing, marketing investment and market performance. Working with product directors to facilitate development of their business strategies.

Management of FP&A. Preparation and communication of the monthly financial and management accounts, board and Exco reports. Management of finance team (4). Managing of liquidity incl. bank accounts/debt facilities and parent funding requests.
